We’re delighted to be recruiting for three roles in our friendly and professional London team. We’re dedicated to investigating, testing, and sharing housing solutions to social injustice. We also support early stage research and feasibility studies to scratch beneath the surface of an issue and see if housing might be able to help.
Administration Officer
In this integral role, you will be providing essential support and administration for the Charity and team members, including trustees when required.
In addition, on behalf of the Chief Executive (CE) this post will be responsible for the overall efficient administration of the office in terms of stationary and filing and administration of meetings of the Board of the charity, which will include ensuring room bookings are appropriately made and taking minutes.
Currently located in serviced office accommodation, a key part of your office administration role will be regular and positive liaison with the building management and other users of the building. This post shall also provide administrative support as required to the retained property consultant ensuring necessary hard copy files are maintained in the office as required.

Project Team Administration Officer
This post provides essential administration support for the project team, currently the Deputy CEO (DCEO) and Research & Evaluation Coordinator (REC) to ensure project success and development.
You will facilitate and attend core meetings for the Project Team, including taking and producing accurate minutes. You will support the Project Team by maintaining project documents to track project progress and monitor deadlines.

Communications Assistant
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to build a career in communications and public affairs in the third sector. You will gain invaluable experience in strategic communications and will be instrumental in informing and shaping the debate around key social injustices that Commonweal exists to highlight and tackle through housing-based solutions.
You will be at the heart of communicating our key messages, project learnings and helping to highlight social injustices in the UK, predominantly around our key themes.
You will support the Policy & Communications Manager in a range of areas including writing, researching, news monitoring and social media management and helping to share our views, knowledge and projects with the industry, partners and key stakeholders.
