Commonweal shortlisted for national innovation in housing award

We are proud to announce that Commonweal Housing has been shortlisted in the prestigious Charity Times Awards 2019.

Commonweal is up for an award in the Property Innovation category, for our work developing innovative housing-based solutions with our project partners to combat a range of social injustices.

Ashley Horsey, Chief Executive, said “This is truly exciting news for Commonweal, as well as all of our dedicated project partners. It’s an honour to have our collaborative, creative approach recognised in this way. We hope this recognition will help us to develop even more housing solutions to serve the marginalised and overlooked in our society, together with our expert partners.”

The Charity Times Awards are celebrating their 20th year of promoting leadership and excellence within the charity sector this year.

The judging panel will include Dame Mary Marsh, non-Executive Director of the Awards, alongside representatives from a range of the UK’s charitable and not-for-profit organisations. Comedian Zoe Lyons will host this year’s ceremony.

The award winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner on Wednesday 2nd October 2019, at Park Plaza.
